screening of the exclusive film documenatry 'Erased Wiped Off The Map' filmed in Gaza in Jan 09 during the Israeli bombings.
6pm.- The event will start at 6pm with a talk from Ewa who is part of the "Free Gaza" movement (www.freegaza.org)
6.30.-Her talk will be followed by the documentary "Erased, wiped off the map". The documentary was filmed throughout the whole of operation Cast Lead which started with the aerial bombardment of Gaza by Israel on the 28th of december 2008 followed by the land invasion on 3rd of january which was incredibly brutal and lasted until the cease fire on jan 18th. This is an exclusive film; Alberto, the film maker was the only foreign journalist on the ground during the attacks.
7.30.- There'll be time for nice vegan food to get some strenght and nourishing for the following part:
7.45-8.00.- Questions and discussion about the film followed by sharing of information about what people are doing locally and beyond to support palestinian people and how we can get involved and organize around it.
